Entropiq to Play in ESEA Open Semifinals

While the Czech Championship is in the books, the CS:GO ball keeps rolling. Entropiq's focus now pivots towards the ESEA Open League campaign, with the black-and-greens among the last four contenders.

A starting field of 515 teams has dwindled to the final four squads, which keep eyeing the outright victory in Season 35 of the ESEA Open Division. It comes down to the last two rounds of the playoffs, with Entropiq in the mix along with Russia's S-Gaming, Ukraine's MAJESTY, and Clique Esports from Portugal.

In August, Entropiq emerged on the team as a newly assembled team and therefore had to fight its way through the bottom tier of the ESEA league system. Our players proved their skill and ambition far exceed the limits of the Open Division. The regular season saw Entropiq rack up 15 wins, which translated into a No.2 seed in the 256-team playoffs.

The squad is now on a six-win streak in the postseason, having marched through the bracket. The next bump on the road is MAJESTY. The semifinal BO3 clash has been slated for Friday, Novermber 27, from 7 p.m. CET.

Entropiq in the ESEA Open Playoffs

Round 1: 2-0 vs Tau Ceti Academys (16-4, 16-8)
Round 2: 2-0 vs EMERITOS BANDITOS (16-0, 16-10)
Round 3: 2-0 vs Rhyno eSports (16-14, 16-4)
Round 4: 2-0 vs FG Sharkgaming (19-15, 16-12)
Round 5: 2-0 vs GameAgents (16-10, 16-14)
Round 6: 2-0 vs CyberLegacy (16-13, 16-9)

Round 7: vs MAJESTY (November 27, at 19:00 CET)

What is at stake

Entropiq is already guaranteed to move to at least the Main Division (and thus eclipse the Intermediate tier). But there's still more up for grabs this season. The eventual Open champion will move even higher, straight into the Advanced Division.

Moreover, the final rounds of the playoffs entail significant cash bonuses. The four remaining teams have already locked up $1,000 apiece, but only the Open League winners will walk away with the $2,100 top prize.

So much for motivation for leckr, AJTT, capseN, daxen, and HONES. The roster was fielded together with the objective to become a competitor on the European stage, and the boys will be poised to earn a place in the Advanced group in the shortest time frame possible. They're now two wins away from accomplishing just that.

But we first need to make the first step before thinking of the finals, so all Entropiq eyes are now on MAJESTY and the Friday clash.
